Announcing our new:

We’re dreaming big and we can’t do it without you!

We believe that in living differently, we bear witness to the creative love of God at work in our world. This fall we're launching the Soil & Sabbath Fund, a pledge drive campaign aimed at raising $20,000 to care for creation and offer spaces of rest. Your pledge can help us do 2 important things in 2025:

  • Fully Fund our New Sabbath 365 program: In 2023 we introduced our Sabbath 365 initiative and funded eight weeks of free overnight guest stays to persons needing an extended break to reconnect with God, themselves, community, and creation. We pray these opportunities will be a special encouragement to recipients, especially to the marginalized in our communities (including the weary, poor, isolated or discouraged clergy, and other socially marginalized groups). Our Soil and Sabbath fundraiser this year aims to fully fund the Sabbath 365 program. $16,000 will provide a free overnight guest stay for 6 months of 2025. Check out the Sabbath 365 application form here.

  • Fund our New Farm Truck: We’ve been gifted a wonderful 1990 Chevy Silverado! Your pledge will help us ensure we have a safe, reliable vehicle dedicated to farm work for years to come. Bales of hay, bags of feed, trips to the hardware store, and the occasional goat transport- the truck will positively impact all of the work we do here at the farm to ensure the animals and land are lovingly cared for. The truck is in pretty good condition, but vehicle expenses add up quickly. 2024’s Soil and Sabbath fundraiser is aiming to raise $4,000 for truck-related fees, registration, insurance, gas, and minor repairs.

We’re so grateful for your support! Your contributions make a significant impact on the Heirloom community, and together we can continue care for creation and offer sabbath spaces to those who long for rest. To donate and be a part of this transformative journey, simply click here:

Sabbath 365 is our initative to give away 365 nights of free guest stays in 2024! Through our Soil & Sabbath Fund, we’re raising the support we need to offer rest to those who need it most. Donate to the fund and help us reach our goal!

If you or someone you know someone who could use a stay at Heirloom for up to 4 weeks, they can fill out the application here. We’re especially prioritizing BIPOC, LGBTQ community members, and those in helping professions (including pastors).
